united by the love of turning wood. Michael
Serpa and Denise DeRose live in Alameda and
Oakland, California where they greatly enjoy
each other's company while making copious
amounts of sawdust.

Their turnings, rendered from the
local woods they harvest in the Bay
Area, are sometimes functional, and
often charming works of art. Their
bowls, platters, vessels and carvings are
featured in local craft fairs and
galleries. They accept special
commissions and contract for
production work.
